Join Maddie, Jess and Konstantin in Switzerland as they compete in the Young International Competition at Lausanne

Hi All!!!  We are here!!!!!  Everything is going great so far!!  The rink is soooo nice, and there is seating on both sides.  (Konstantin, Jess, and I got lost trying to find it three times.)  Jess and Mary have been very helpful with their French...Jess already got us kicked out of a restaurant. lol!!!
Our practices have gone very well so far!!!  We went shopping in town today, and we went down to a pier at Lake Geneva yesterday.  Konstantin told us that the pier was a five minute walk, and 45!! minutes later, we reach the pier!!!  Everything is so pretty.  There is the city (where we are), and less than a quarter mile away is Lake Geneva, and right behind the lake are the Alps, and we can see France from our hotel rooms.  It has been so much fun!!!  Everything is really small though...the elevator fits four people and that's it!!!  The cars are also very funny looking, most of them are really small, and weird looking.
We were driving a stick shift car, and we had to go up a hill that was practically ninety degrees, and the car stalled right at the arch of the hill, and the car almost rolled down the hill into oncoming traffic.  We almost died.
